Cancer-Fighting HPV vaccine tested with new timing for kids

NCT ID NCT02568566

Summary

This study is testing if a different timing schedule for the HPV vaccine works well in healthy 9-11 year old children. The HPV vaccine can prevent several types of cancer caused by the virus. Researchers want to see if giving the first shot and then waiting two years for the booster shots still provides strong, lasting protection.
