Can a chat help stop cervical cancer? study tests new approach
NCT ID NCT06662136
Summary
This study tested whether having supportive, motivational conversations with women could encourage them to get tested for HPV, a virus that causes most cervical cancers. Researchers worked with 90 women aged 30-45 who hadn't had an HPV test recently. They compared women who received these special interviews and educational materials to see if it changed their knowledge and their decision to get tested.
