Summary

This study tested a medicated patch (HP-5000) placed on the skin to relieve knee pain caused by osteoarthritis. 370 adults aged 40 to 85 with knee osteoarthritis used either the active patch or a placebo patch for 12 weeks. The main goal was to see if the patch reduced pain and stiffness better than a placebo.
