Your water bottle might change your eye exam results

NCT ID NCT07177131

Summary

This study aims to understand how being well-hydrated or slightly dehydrated affects measurements taken during eye scans. Healthy adult volunteers will have their eyes scanned twice: once after drinking a lot of water and once after avoiding water for 12 hours. Researchers will compare the scan results to see if water intake changes measurements of the retina, cornea, and eye length, which could help doctors interpret scans more accurately.
