Scientists probe how our bones talk to our nerves during standing
NCT ID NCT07043595
Summary
This study aimed to understand how standing posture and gentle whole-body vibration affect spinal reflexes that control our muscles. Ten healthy volunteers stood still or on a vibrating platform while researchers measured electrical responses in their calf muscles. The goal was to learn more about how our nervous system and bones work together to maintain balance and regulate movement.
