Spine imaging under the microscope: are we missing the mark?

NCT ID NCT07256366

First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will check how well common imaging methods like X-rays and MRIs can spot extra or fused bones in the lower spine and correctly identify the disc that is causing pain. Researchers will compare routine scans with a full-spine image to see which method is most accurate. The goal is to improve diagnosis for people with back and leg pain.
