Summary

This study aims to understand how red blood cells move a substance called lactate in and out of the bloodstream during intense exercise and recovery. Researchers will compare 84 fit and sedentary volunteers to see how their genetics and fitness levels affect this process. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how the body manages energy and fatigue during physical activity.
