The shape of a mouthpiece could change your breathing test results
NCT ID NCT06435793
Summary
This study aimed to improve the accuracy of breathing strength tests by understanding how different mouthpiece designs affect the results. Researchers measured the breathing strength of 49 healthy adults using various mouthpieces to see which designs gave the most reliable readings. The goal was to gather knowledge to help standardize these common medical tests, not to treat any disease.
