NCT ID NCT05675436
Summary
This study aims to understand how the drug mitapivat works in people with sickle cell disease. It involves only 6 participants who are already in a larger trial testing the drug's effectiveness. Researchers will take extra blood samples and use a non-invasive skin test to measure how the drug affects red blood cells and oxygen flow in the body.
