First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at how people judge heart transplant centers based on their willingness to accept donor hearts. Researchers showed 105 medical students information about two hospitals: one that accepts almost all donor hearts and one that only accepts the best ones. The goal was to see which hospital students thought was better. The study aims to understand how public reporting of transplant data might shape opinions about hospital performance.
