Dentists' presentation tricks can sway your tooth color choice, study finds
NCT ID NCT07370545
Summary
This study looked at how the order a dentist shows tooth color samples affects what patients choose for dental work like veneers or crowns. Researchers split 210 adults into three groups: some saw natural colors first, some saw bleached-white colors first, and some saw all colors at once. The goal was to see if the presentation order makes patients change their minds and pick lighter shades, and if a person's feelings about their smile influences their choice.
