Summary
This study looked at how performing rescue breathing during CPR affects a medical professional's ability to do mental tasks like calculating medication doses. Researchers tested 38 trained medical professionals by having them do mental math while simulating CPR ventilations. The goal was to understand how multitasking during emergencies impacts critical thinking skills.
