Sit all day, sabotage your workout? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT07429370
Summary
This study aims to understand why sitting for a full day before exercising might reduce the health benefits of that workout. Researchers will measure changes in blood chemicals and proteins in young, healthy adults after they exercise following a day of very low activity. The goal is to learn how inactivity alters the body's internal response to physical activity.
