Houston hospital launches bold program to break cycle of gun violence

Summary
This study aims to see if a hospital-based program can reduce the chance of being shot again. It enrolls 274 people aged 16-35 who were treated for a gunshot wound from community violence. Participants are randomly assigned to the program or usual care and followed for 12 months to track reinjury and other health outcomes.
