Summary
This study looks at why many elderly women in rural Tamil Nadu skip free health check-ups. Researchers will test if telling both the woman and her caretaker about the check-up, and offering free transportation, increases attendance. About 1,200 women aged 60-75 will take part. The goal is to learn how family communication and practical support can improve preventive care.
