New hope for men suffering from cancer treatment side effects

NCT ID NCT06972875

Summary

This study is testing a drug called fezolinetant to see if it can reduce hot flashes in men receiving hormone-blocking therapy for prostate cancer. Researchers want to find a non-hormonal way to manage this common and bothersome side effect that affects quality of life. The study involves 32 men who experience frequent hot flashes and will measure how well the drug reduces their frequency and severity over 4 weeks.
