Hot saunas & cold plunges: new study tests ancient remedies for modern sleep problems

NCT ID NCT07201935

Summary

This study is testing whether hot saunas, cold baths, or a combination of both can improve sleep quality and help the brain's nightly cleaning process in military cadets. Researchers will enroll 45 cadets and track their sleep and mood using smart rings and questionnaires over several weeks. The goal is to see if these simple temperature-based therapies can lead to better rest and well-being.
