Big brother in hospitals: tracking staff to save lives?
NCT ID NCT04114110
Summary
This study looked back at data from 2000 hospital patients to understand how staff time with patients affects health. Researchers used a tracking system that recorded where staff, patients, and equipment were every second. They wanted to see if more contact time led to better outcomes, like fewer deaths, readmissions, or falls.
