Nurse vs. doctor: which emergency team saves more lives?
NCT ID NCT04507737
Summary
This study compares two types of hospital rapid response teams that help patients whose condition suddenly worsens. Researchers want to see if a team led by an intensive care nurse works as well as a team led by an intensive care doctor. The study will enroll 1,500 hospitalized adults and track outcomes like survival rates and unplanned ICU admissions.
