Can a simple tool save lives in the hospital?
NCT ID NCT06315842
Summary
This study aims to see if using a specific tool to help doctors decide how much testing and treatment hospitalized patients need affects how well patients do. It will involve 20 doctors who care for general medical patients, not cancer or palliative care. The doctors will be grouped, and each group will start using the tool at different times over a year to compare outcomes like survival, complications, and hospital costs.
