Summary

This study looks at how gender-affirming hormone therapy changes muscle metabolism and function in transgender and gender-diverse people. Researchers will measure energy use in muscle cells and overall physical health. The goal is to understand these effects better, not to test a new treatment. Participants must be 18-40 years old and have been on hormone therapy for at least 10 months.
