Simple tube removal during hysterectomy may slash ovarian cancer risk

Summary
This study looks at whether removing the fallopian tubes at the same time as a hysterectomy (for non-cancer reasons) can lower the chance of getting ovarian cancer later. About 4,400 women under 55 will be randomly assigned to have their tubes removed or not. Researchers will track complications, menopause symptoms, and cancer rates over time using national health records.
