New pill aims to wipe out hookworm in one go

Summary

This study tests a new drug called ZP5-9676 to see if it can cure infections from hookworm and other common intestinal worms. About 300 people aged 6 months to 59 years old from areas with high worm rates will take either the drug or a placebo. The goal is to clear the worms completely with a short course of treatment.
