Summary

This study tested whether diluted thyme honey could help relieve dry mouth in intensive care unit (ICU) patients receiving oxygen therapy through a nasal tube. Researchers compared 64 patients split into two groups: one received mouth care with diluted honey, and the other received standard saline mouth care. The goal was to see if the honey treatment improved patients' self-reported dry mouth symptoms over three days.
