Can a simple change of location make pump refills less stressful?
NCT ID NCT07727798
First seen Jul 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This trial tests whether having intrathecal pump refills at home is more comfortable than going to the hospital. Adults in Belgium with an implanted pump for chronic pain or severe spasticity will each receive two refills at home and two at the hospital, in random order. The study measures comfort, quality of life, and patient preference to see if home-based care could ease the burden of these regular procedures.
