Summary
This study has two parts. First, it will compare recovery for older adults treated in the hospital versus at home (Hospital at Home). Second, it will test whether a home-based program of physical and mental exercises after discharge helps people recover better than usual care. Researchers will measure improvements in physical ability, thinking skills, and quality of life.
