Home care study aims to keep seriously ill kids out of hospitals
NCT ID NCT06362239
Summary
This study is comparing two approaches to caring for seriously ill children: home-based hospice and palliative care versus traditional clinic and hospital care. Researchers want to see if receiving more care at home reduces hospital visits and improves quality of life for families. The study involves 250 children and young adults up to age 19 who need ongoing palliative care support.
