Summary

This study tested whether a home-based pulmonary rehabilitation program using new technology and health coaching helps people with COPD stick with their recovery plan better than the usual center-based program. 296 adults aged 40 and older who were hospitalized for COPD took part. The goal was to see if the home option improves quality of life and reduces emergency visits.
