Heart surgery recovery goes digital: can video rehab match In-Person care?
NCT ID NCT07232693
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week home-based video rehabilitation program works as well as traditional center-based rehab for improving anxiety, depression, and quality of life after heart bypass surgery. Researchers compared both approaches against usual care in 110 patients who were 4-8 weeks post-surgery. The home program included personalized exercise plans, remote monitoring with a wearable device, and weekly nurse support through a mobile app.
