Depression treatment moves from hospital to home
NCT ID NCT05059600
Summary
This study tested whether a 60-hour IV treatment for postpartum depression could be safely given at home instead of in a hospital. It involved 52 women and carefully monitored for safety issues and whether healthcare providers could follow all the required safety steps in a home setting. The goal was to see if home treatment was a practical and safe option for patients.
