At-Home tech combo aims to keep seniors stronger, more independent

NCT ID NCT07297381

Summary

This study is testing a home-based program to see if it can help healthy older adults maintain arm strength and their sense of movement (proprioception). Participants aged 65-85 will try a 4-week program that combines watching videos of daily tasks with gentle electrical muscle stimulation. Researchers will compare this combined approach to using each technique alone to see which is most effective for improving strength and the ability to judge weights.
