Researchers test best way to convince seniors to make homes safer

NCT ID NCT07383727

Summary

This study aims to understand what helps older adults decide to make their homes safer as they age. Researchers will compare two teaching methods—in-person sessions versus online videos—to see which better encourages people to install grab bars, improve lighting, or use other safety equipment. The study involves 40 adults over 60 who live independently and will track if they make any home changes three months after the education.
