Can a 5-Week home visit program stop toddler injuries?
NCT ID NCT03517475
Summary
This study tested a home-based program designed to teach low-income parents better supervision skills to prevent injuries in their 3-4 year old children. 89 parents were randomly assigned to either receive the new 5-week training program plus their usual services, or just their usual services. Researchers measured changes in how closely parents watched their children and tracked how many minor injuries the children had.
