Can professional help at home ease the burden on family caregivers?
NCT ID NCT04732312
Summary
This study looked at whether getting professional home assistance (like meal delivery or nursing care) improves the quality of life for family members caring for elderly loved ones with memory problems. Researchers followed 12 caregivers in France for three months after the professional help started. They measured changes in the caregivers' stress, sense of burden, and overall well-being.
