Home neck exercises challenge traditional Hands-On therapy for whiplash recovery

NCT ID NCT07324811

Summary

This study tested whether a structured home exercise program for neck control is as effective as conventional hands-on physical therapy for people with persistent neck pain after a car accident (whiplash). 80 participants were randomly assigned to either do the home exercises or receive manual therapy from a therapist for eight weeks. Researchers measured changes in pain levels, neck disability, and range of motion to see which approach worked better.
