Home monitoring tested to tame high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT07273578
Summary
This study tested whether having patients monitor their own blood pressure at home helps lower high blood pressure levels. Seventy adults with uncontrolled hypertension were split into two groups: one used a loaned home monitor, while the other only had their pressure checked at clinic visits. The goal was to see if regular home tracking led to better blood pressure control over time.
