Video games as medicine? new study tests brain training for ADHD kids at home

NCT ID NCT07552909

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is testing whether playing special brain-controlled games at home can help school-aged children (ages 7 to 11) with mild to moderate ADHD pay better attention and feel less hyperactive. About 146 children will play these neurofeedback games over several weeks, and researchers will measure changes in attention and impulsivity using parent questionnaires. The goal is to find a fun, non-drug way to ease ADHD symptoms.
