First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether watching a hologram can reduce pain, anxiety, and fear in children aged 3 to 12 during burn dressing changes. About 70 children with second-degree burns covering less than 10% of their body will be randomly assigned to receive standard care or standard care plus a hologram distraction. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug method makes the experience less distressing.
