Researchers hunt clues to perfect prostate surgery
NCT ID NCT07429994
Summary
This study aims to understand what factors lead to the best outcomes after a common laser surgery for an enlarged prostate. Researchers will follow 604 men after their surgery to see which patient and surgical details predict a 'trifecta' success: good symptom relief, no serious complications, and no urinary incontinence. The goal is to gather knowledge to help surgeons and patients make better decisions, not to test a new treatment.
