New home therapy helps veterans with hoarding disorder

Summary
This study tested a personalized version of Cognitive Rehabilitation and Exposure/Sorting Therapy (CREST) for Veterans with hoarding disorder. The therapy was delivered at home via telemedicine and home visits over 24 sessions. The goal was to improve daily functioning, reduce hoarding symptoms, and enhance quality of life. The study included 60 Veterans and compared the therapy to standard case management.
