Summary
This study looked at whether taking a daily prebiotic supplement called SuperHMO (made from human milk sugars) can improve gut health in healthy adults aged 18 to 40. Over 30 days, 32 participants either took the supplement or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in gut bacteria and markers of inflammation to see if the supplement helps the gut work better.
