Can a muscle supplement speed up recovery from Jumper's knee?
NCT ID NCT07466407
Summary
This study is testing whether a nutritional supplement called HMB can help athletes with patellar tendinopathy (jumper's knee) recover faster. Thirty athletes will follow the same rehab program, but half will take HMB and half will take a placebo pill. Researchers will measure changes in knee pain, tendon thickness, and jumping performance over 8 weeks to see if the supplement makes a difference.
