New drug trial offers hope for advanced throat cancer patients out of options

Summary
This study is testing an experimental drug called HLX43 for people with advanced nasopharyngeal cancer (a type of throat cancer) that has returned or spread and hasn't responded to at least two previous treatments. The trial will enroll 70 participants to receive one of three different doses of HLX43, given through an IV, to find the best dose and see if it can shrink tumors and extend life while monitoring side effects.
