New hope for kids with rare, Life-Threatening immune disease

NCT ID NCT04551131

Summary

This study is testing a new treatment plan for a rare and serious immune system disorder called Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). It combines an existing drug, ruxolitinib, with standard medications, adjusting the treatment based on how well the patient responds. The goal is to see if this approach is effective and safe for children and young adults with newly diagnosed or hard-to-treat HLH.
