Summary

This study is for adults aged 18 to 55 who were diagnosed with type 1 diabetes within the last 6 months. Researchers will test a blood sample to see if participants have a specific genetic marker called HLA-DRB1*04:01. The goal is to understand how common this marker is in different racial and ethnic groups. No treatment or medication is given—this is an observational study only.
