New pill aims to ease pain after belly surgery

Summary

This study tests a new tablet called HL-1186 to see if it safely reduces moderate to severe pain after abdominal surgery. About 40 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure pain relief over 48 hours using a standard pain scale.
