New pain pill could ease suffering after surgery

Summary
This study tests an experimental tablet called HL-1186 for people with moderate to severe pain after surgery. About 72 adults having certain surgeries (orthopedic, abdominal, or chest) will receive either the drug or a placebo. The main goal is to see how well it reduces pain over 48 hours and to check for side effects.
