Summary
This early-stage trial tested a therapeutic HIV vaccine made from each patient's own white blood cells. The goal was to see if it is safe and can boost the immune system to better control HIV. Forty adults on stable HIV treatment took part, receiving either a vaccine loaded with inactivated HIV or with conserved HIV peptides, or a control without antigen.
