Army tests new HIV vaccine formula in early safety trial

NCT ID NCT05423418

Summary

This early-stage study tested the safety of different amounts of a vaccine booster (called ALFQ) when combined with an experimental HIV vaccine. Sixty-five healthy adults who don't have HIV received three shots over two months. Researchers compared three groups getting different booster doses to see which was safest and best at stimulating the immune system.
