Summary
This study tested a new HIV vaccine in 38 healthy infants who were exposed to HIV at birth but did not get the virus. The goal was to see if the vaccine is safe and helps the babies' immune systems fight HIV. The vaccine was given along with a special ingredient to boost its effect.
